Submitting information does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. Availability and participation vary by location and matter type.

02Why you see "Attorney advertising"

Parts of this website may be considered attorney advertising under the rules of some states. We label the site accordingly. The information here is general and educational; it is not legal advice and is not a substitute for talking to a licensed attorney about your situation.

03Our relationships with attorneys

Attorneys may work with us as authors, content reviewers, participating attorneys or advertisers. Where an attorney has any of these relationships, their profile states it. We do not rank attorneys, and we do not say that any attorney is better than another. See our attorneys.

04How requests are handled

We pass on a request only with your consent. Availability depends on your state and the type of matter, and a request is only passed on where participating attorneys are available and the rules in that state allow it. We cannot promise that an attorney will contact you or take your case.

Some states require additional disclosures. They will be listed here for each state before requests from that state are accepted.

06No attorney-client relationship

Using this site or submitting information does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship only begins if you and an attorney agree to it directly.
